Salary & Compensation



  • UCLA provides a full pay range. Actual salary offers consider factors, including budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. Salary offers at the top of the range are not common. Qualifications


  • Ability to work accurately with frequent interruptions, tight time pressure, ambiguity, changing priorities and minimum supervision. (Required)
  • Demonstrated experience in event management (Preferred)
  • Able to work overtime, evenings, or weekends, as needed. Capable to work as a supportive team member. (Required)
  • Interpersonal skills to act professionally and diplomatically with persons of diverse social, cultural, economic and educational backgrounds. (Required)
  • Experience using Handshake platform, event management technology, or other complex, multi-functional systems (Preferred)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. (Required)
  • Ability to anticipate and respond professionally and appropriate to the needs of others, and to diplomatically enforce policies and procedures. (Required)
  • Skill in prioritizing and organizing workload, with excellent follow-through capability. (Required)
  • Proficiency in Windows-based programs, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. (Preferred)
  • Exceptional customer service and team orientation skills. Good listening skills. (Required)

Education, Licenses, Certifications & Personal Affiliations


  • Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
