Description
Join a dynamic team on the Pediatric Hematology / Oncology unit at UCLA Mattel's Children's Hospital. As an APP on this service, you can make a difference in our patients' and families' lives. The APP will provide and coordinate the care of patients, provide patient / family education, and promote safe continuity of care. The NP also participates in interdisciplinary and clinical rounds, provides education and support, and makes appropriate referrals.
Salary range : $74.95 - $100.86 / hourly
Qualifications
- Degree in PA program - required
- CA PA License - required
- BLS Certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association - required
- PALS Certification from American Heart Association - required
- National Board Certification as PA - required
- NPI#, DEA#, Enrollment in PECOS, Enrollment in CURES - required
- Two years of pediatric hem / onc experience preferred - required
- Ability to utilize Excel, Word, and other software programs - required
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and collaborative working relationships with administrative, clinical, and academic personnel - required
- Skill in working independently and following through with minimum direction - required
- Ability to set priorities - required
- Demonstrate writing skills to compose logical, detailed, and grammatically correct correspondence - required
- Document patient care in a concise and comprehensive manner - required
