Job Summary:
The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks on campus buildings and equipment. This includes performing routine maintenance tasks, installing equipment, and repairing and maintaining plumbing facilities. The successful candidate will have a strong background in one or more building trades, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key responsibilities also include operating heavy equipment such as trucks, backhoes, and excavators, and performing general construction tasks such as new work, remodeling, repairing, existing building or subdivision thereof, modifying walls, doors, modular partitions, ceiling, etc.
