About the Role
As a key member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for the administration and leadership of our Practical Nursing program. This includes overseeing curriculum development, student admissions, and faculty supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, and administer the Practical Nursing program in accordance with state law and regulation, accreditation standards, and college policy.
- Oversee administrative tasks of the Practical Nursing program, such as agency contracts, criminal history background checks, and health clearance.
- Provide guidance and support to students, ensuring their success in the program.
- Collaborate with faculty to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
- Manage budgets, grants, and reports related to the program.
Requirements
- Masters Degree in Nursing required.
- Three years successful teaching experience in a Licensed Practical Nursing Program or other nursing programs/schools.
- Strong interpersonal, administrative, and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
