Job Title: Electronic Integrated Control Systems Technician
The University of Connecticut Facilities Operations Department, Cogeneration Plant and Supplemental Utility Plant is seeking highly skilled individuals to fill five permanent, full-time Electronic Integrated Control Systems (EICS) Technician Industrial Controls (IC) positions.
Job Summary
We are looking for talented professionals to join our team in the maintenance and operation of industrial control systems. As an EICS Technician IC, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of these systems.
Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and troubleshooting of industrial control systems
- Ensuring system efficiency and performance
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams to resolve issues
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in industrial control systems maintenance and operation
- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in industrial control systems or related fields
- Experience with programming languages and software
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., 40 hours per week with an unpaid half an hour for lunch.
