Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, and maintain complex systems, including power plant equipment and distribution infrastructure;
- Ensure reliable operation of equipment and detect faulty or erratic operation of systems;
- Monitor, calibrate, and repair gauges and other devices to standards and record performance indicators on log deficiency reports;
- Coordinate equipment abnormalities reports and assist in diagnosis;
- Perform preventative maintenance repairs and other related tasks as required and/or assigned.
Requirements
- Considerable knowledge of manufacturing operations, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment, electrical schematics, network troubleshooting, electronic instrumentation calibration, electronic theories and practices, and applicable industrial plant equipment and process;
- Knowledge of functions and processes of assigned steam and chilled water systems and assigned facilities of employment;
- Skills in interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills;
- Considerable ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain electronic instrumentation and related parts;
- Ability to utilize computer software.
