Duties
- Excess Property Coordinator
- Assist Property Manager with all administrative tasks
- Serve as UCOR’s back-up Personal Property Manager in the Personal Property Manager’s absence.
- Interface with the DOE Property Manager in all personal property excess/transfer/disposition activities.
- Ensure UCOR personal property is managed in compliance with all DOE and CFR procedures and guidelines
- Assist the Property Manager in revision and implementation of program procedures and forms related to personal property, i.e., transfer orders, excess, high risk review(s), PPMS, etc.
- Work with all organizations to maintain compliant personal property disposition practices, including transfers through GSA or other federal agencies.
- Assist with annual personal property inventory campaign.
- Primary contact for all personal property excess inquiries.
- Conduct High-Risk property reviews.
- Knowledge of UCOR’s contractual obligations to DOE directly related to personal property.
- Update UCOR’s internal personal property management system (PRISM) of all government furnished property excess/disposal activities.
- Prepare various personal property data reports for UCOR Property Manager.
- Work with UCOR property custodians to obtain data to be used for inventory confirmations, transfers, and excessing/disposal of personal property assets.
- Ensure all personal property items are properly accounted for according to UCOR’s employee termination & transfer checklist.
- BS degree plus at least 8 years of relevant work experience; an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience dealing with property management activities will also be considered
- Experience with UCOR or other DOE related property processes and general knowledge of Government Personal Property regulations preferred
- Proven ability to communicate with field personnel, facility managers and DOE representatives
- Experience with PRISM, PPMS, or any other required property tracking databases
- Proven ability to multi-task
- Ability to learn new tasks and demonstrate leadership capabilities are preferred
- Working knowledge/training in High-Risk federally owned personal property practices are preferred
- Willingness to work on special projects required
