The Board Certified Behavior Analyst is a clinical position within UCP of Western Massachusetts that reports to the UCP Assistant Director of Autism Services. This position is responsible for behavior assessments (following best practices of ABA) and the overall training/supervision of the paraprofessional staff within the autism EI program and will provide training to parents of children involved in the program.

- Master’s degree in special education, psychology or related human services field;
- Massachusetts Licensed Applied Behavior Analyst (LABA) with a minimum of two years experience.
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for a minimum of two years
- Successful completion of internship and/or formal training in the analysis of behavior and instructional strategies related to working with clients who have pervasive developmental disorders and related disorders.
- Demonstrates competence in behavior management skill, instructional skills, oral and written communication, organizational skills and interpersonal relations
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Must be able to work independently and succeed in a multi-tasking environment and handle stress in a professional and positive manner.
- Ability to work with a variety of clients in regard to age, functionality, and with minimal direction
- Sensitive to the needs of persons with disabilities including being culturally sensitive to their individual needs.
- Maintain CPR/First Aid certification for infants and children
- Maintain valid driver's license, current auto insurance, availability of a private vehicle.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Office 365 and word processing skills
- Ability to work in person flexible hours, including afternoon and evening hours. This role requires in person work with families and RBTs and is not a remote role. Remote work and telehealth is on an exceptions basis.
- In accordance with MDPH regulations evidence of immunity for measles, mumps and rubella
- Must be able to climb, stoop, get up and down from floors, sit on floors for varying periods of time, reach with hands and arms as well a lift and move up to 40 pounds.
- Must have an acceptable CORI, SORI, DPPC and National Fingerprint Check.
Salary : $65 - $70
