What are the responsibilities and job description for the Child Care Specialist position at UCP Seguin of Greater Chicago?
Description
Ability to establish and maintain effective working and supportive relationships with children, foster and biological families, related third parties and other Agency personnel, be able to physically intervene as needed during crisis/emergency situations in order to assist child/families in a manner adequate to ensure personnel safety, physical needs and well-being.
Qualifications
Valid Illinois driver's license plus proof of current vehicle insurance. Previous experience with or knowledge of developmental disabilities, child development, welfare and/or pediatric medical, services preferred. High School Diploma/ G.E.D. required. Use of own vehicle with current insurance. Several Part-Time positions available. Working 2nd shift 20 hours per week. Bilingual preferred English/Spanish.
STARTING RATE: $16.62/hour
Additional compensation for experience & Education:
- 2-3 Years fulltime related $0.25
- 4 Years fulltime related $0.50
- Associates or 48 college credit hours $0.25
- Bachelors Degree $0.50
