What are the responsibilities and job description for the Family Finding and Resource/Recruitment Specialist position at UCP Seguin of Greater Chicago?
DESCRIPTION
The Family Finding Specialist/Recruitment Specialist position will identify and engage familial supports and connections including relatives and fictive kin for the purpose of life-long connections and permanency achievements. This position will work collaboratively with the licensing and casework teams, licensing target families to then transfer case to licensing team (will not carry licensing case load) it will also assist the family caseworker with facilitating the expansion of resources needed to better serve children and their families involved in foster care, including conducting extensive research, investigation, and outreach in locating absentee parents/guardians.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in social work, other human services field, criminal justice communication experience in investigation and person location preferred. Minimum of one year of full-time professional work experience in a social work setting is preferred. Valid Illinois Driver's License. Certificate of Proof of Insurance and maintenance of such at minimum amount of coverage required by law
Other Requirements: Drivers License and personal vehicle insurance; utilize and operate personal vehicle as necessary for position.
Salary Range $41K - $47K
