Summary
As a Behavior Specialist, you will provide compassionate and attentive care to children in a home and community (as needed) setting. Reporting to the family and coordinator, your skills will be essential in ensuring the safety and well-being of the children.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and compassionate care to children in a home and community (as needed) setting.
- Assist with daily living activities (ADLs) and follow a daily routine.
- Monitor the children to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Collaborate with the family and supervisor to create a collaborative, nurturing atmosphere and support social and emotional growth.
- Engage children in educational and recreational activities to promote learning and development.
Qualifications
- Experience with working with individuals with disabilities or ABA experience of at least one year (REQUIRED)
- 18 years or older (REQUIRED)
- Authorized to work in the U.S (REQUIRED)
- Experience in caregiving or child care (preferred)
- Ability to assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.
- Capability to multi-task and maintain a clean and safe environment
