CNC Lathe Operator

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating CNC machinery and a strong understanding of precision engineering. This role involves setting up and operating CNC lathes to produce high-quality components while adhering to safety and quality standards.

We are located near I-10 and Prince, Tucson area easy access to the company. We have a variety of custom products and small quantities of products allowing day to day machining operations to vary. Working schedule is very flexible, hours available for working can be as early as 5 am to as late as 6 pm. This is a 40 hour a week position Monday thru Friday.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes according to specifications and production schedules.
• Interpret technical drawings and blueprints using SolidWorks to ensure accurate machining.
• Utilize measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers to verify dimensions and tolerances of finished products.
• Perform quality control checks throughout the machining process to maintain high standards.
• Conduct routine maintenance on CNC equipment, including troubleshooting any issues that arise during operation.
• Collaborate with team members in materials handling and ensure proper inventory management of raw materials.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a CNC Lathe Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in operating CNC machinery, including milling machines and press brake machines.
• Strong understanding of basic math skills for precise measurements and calculations.
• Familiarity with quality control processes and materials handling techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including engineering drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
