Job Summary:
The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) provides skilled, technical nursing care to patients according to a plan of care established by a Registered Nurse (RN).
Job Requirements:
Education: Graduation from an accredited LPN or LVN program. Successful completion of an IV therapy course required. Required Licenses and Certifications: Current California State License to practice as a Vocational Nurse.
Experience: 1-3 years pediatric experience preferred.
Skills and Abilities: Able to perform CPR and comply with all infection control policies. Able to maintain emotional stability.
Physical Requirements:
Sit: Up to 3 hours/day
Stand/Walk: 6-8 hours
Bend/Stoop: Up to 3 hours
Reach: Up to 6 hours
Rep Use of UE/Grasp: Up to 6 hrs
Lift/Push/Pull: 25lbs, over 25# with assistance or equipment
