Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
The salary range for this position is $141,500 - $212,200 (Annual Rate).

Required Qualifications
- 3 years demonstrated experience in compatible interaction with regulatory agencies such as, but not limited to: State Fire Marshal, OSHA, City of San Francisco, BAAQMD, FEMA, The Joint Commission, CMS, CDPH, DHS and related Authorities Having Jurisdiction
- 3 years demonstrated success in managing the operations of a large medical center or institutional facility
- Strong skills to facilitate and collaborate with various internal and external constituencies on short- and long -term facilities planning and management.
- Strong analytical, research and report preparation skills to meet regulatory and budgetary reporting requirements. Strong skills in leadership, motivation of staff and team-building.
- Strong skills in management, regulatory compliance and operations planning.
- Broad knowledge in the areas of facilities management, space planning and allocation, security, fire and safety and emergency preparedness.
- Strong skills in verbal and written communications.
- Experience and knowledge to inspect construction in progress (general and specialty structures)and read, sketch and interpret plans and specifications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience in designing Key Performance Indicators to support preventative maintenance compliance.
- Key Shop/Security experience at a large academic Medical Center
- Knowledge of computer programs common to the electronic security, keyway integrations industry: to include working knowledge of Aetheon TUGS robotics
- Radio Systems Experience (400Mhz/700Mhz)
- IBM Maximo Computerized Maintenance Management experience

Bachelor’s degree and/or 5 years related field management experience or a combination of
education and experience. - CERT: CHFM
