What are the responsibilities and job description for the Monitor Technician, Per Diem position at UCSF Health?
Responsible for maintaining the knowledge and skills essential to the performance of behaviors described in this job description, and is accountable to the administrative nurse.
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.
Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
The salary range for this position is $40.82 - $40.82 (Hourly Rate).

Required Qualifications
2. Completion of an EKG Interpretation course.
3. Minimum 6 months of recent inpatient telemetry monitoring experience.
4. Proficiency in independent EKG interpretation.
5. Excellent verbal and written skills. Must be well organized and detail oriented with the ability to work independently and under pressure.
6. Ability to work effectively within a team.7. Basic computer key board skills and general PC knowledge
Preferred Qualifications
2. 1 year or above recent inpatient telemetry monitoring experience.
3. Knowledge and experience working with Philips, GE, and/or Masimo physiological monitors
