What are the responsibilities and job description for the Loader_Unloader position at UCW Logistics LLC?
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Safely operate forklift to transport materials to and from assigned warehouses.
- Load, transport, unload and stack materials in accordance with established procedures.
- Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped.
- Move product from staging and/or storage areas into loading trailers.
- Maintain up-to-date forklift certification.
- Clean and maintain housekeeping of work areas.
- Must be detail oriented and pay close attention to accuracy.
- Able to work outside of normal workday, with good attendance and punctuality.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 1 year of warehouse experience.
- Ability to obtain forklift certification.
- Knowledge of safe loading and unloading procedures.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to routinely bend and squat.
- Ability to walk, stand or sit for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
