What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Representative position at UCX?
- Heavy call volume both incoming and outgoing.
- Process orders, prepare correspondence, and respond to customer needs to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Research and update all open backorders and mill direct orders.
- Process returns authorizations.
- Check manufacturers for stock availability.
- Participate in promotions and add-on sales.
- Act as liaison between customer and salesperson
- Provide product and services information to customers.
- Resolve customer issues with accuracy and efficiency.
- Sorting, confirming and crediting of invoices.
Qualifications
- Proficient in computerized systems for data entry and customer support
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- High School Diploma required, associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- At least three years of experience in a call center or customer service environment.
- Effective problem solving and motivational skills. Strong analytical, negotiation and people skills.
- Strong multitasking abilities to handle various customer inquiries simultaneously
