Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate teacher to join our educational team for our summer program. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and enhancing student engagement. This role involves developing and implementing curriculum tailored to meet the diverse needs of students, while also ensuring effective classroom management. The teacher will play a crucial role in educating young minds, focusing on ELA, math, and enrichment for our Summer camp program.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a conducive learning environment.
- Educate students in various subjects, including literacy and math, using innovative teaching methods.
- Conduct testing
- Provide tutoring
- Foster a nurturing atmosphere that encourages social and emotional development.
- Collaborate with parents, staff, and administration to support student success.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Education
- Certified teacher
- Experience in childhood education K-6th
- Proven skills in curriculum development and classroom management.
- Strong understanding of literacy education principles and practice
- A genuine passion for educating young learners.
Job Type: Temporary
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
