We are seeking a highly organized and diligent Completions Technician to manage and administer the Completions Management System (CMS) for an oil and gas project located on the North Slope of Alaska. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring all project systems and processes are properly completed, documented, and transitioned to operational readiness, ensuring all milestones are met before the final handover. This role plays a critical part in tracking, verifying, and maintaining system integrity across project stages from pre-commissioning to final project delivery.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring all project systems and processes are properly completed, documented, and transitioned to operational readiness, ensuring all milestones are met before the final handover. This role plays a critical part in tracking, verifying, and maintaining system integrity across project stages from pre-commissioning to final project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Completions Data Administration:
- Manage and oversee all documentation related to project completions, including progress tracking, system checks, punch lists, and final acceptance of systems and equipment.
- Ensure all project milestones and completion activities are captured in the CMS, ensuring data accuracy and thoroughness.
- Coordinate with construction and commissioning teams to track the status of completion activities.
- System Administration and Updates:
- Administer the Completions Management System (CMS) platform to ensure it is functioning correctly and up-to-date with real-time project data.
- Review, input, and maintain comprehensive completion checklists, inspection results, and testing reports into the CMS.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the CMS to maintain efficient and smooth operation.
- Completion Milestone Tracking:
- Assist in tracking all stages of the project’s completion, including pre-commissioning, commissioning, and handover activities.
- Ensure that all required documentation and certifications (e.g., inspection, testing, and compliance) are properly recorded and stored in the CMS.
- Monitor and update completion schedules and ensure project milestones are achieved as planned.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare and generate completion reports, progress summaries, and related documentation for management and stakeholders.
- Ensure timely and accurate handover packages are completed, including all relevant data, drawings, and specifications for operational teams.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all reporting and completion documentation.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure all completion activities are in alignment with project requirements and timelines.
- Communicate with project management, ensuring transparency of completion status and any issues that might affect project milestones or deadlines.
- Liaise with the commissioning and operations teams to ensure smooth transition from construction to operational readiness.
- Quality Control & Compliance:
- Participate in audits or reviews as required to ensure the completeness of the project completion process.
- Maintain quality standards through consistent verification, data validation, and documentation.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in project completions, commissioning, or project management within the oil and gas industry.
- Familiarity with Completions Management Systems (CMS)and experience with tracking project milestones and document management tools.
- Experience working with Omega Pimms is a plus.
- Experience working in remote environments like the North Slope of Alaska is preferred.
- QC background in electrical and instrumentation a plus.
- Education:
- Associate degree or technical certification in a relevant field (e.g., project management, engineering, or construction) is preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of project completions, commissioning, and turnover processes.
- Excellent proficiency with Completions Management Systems (e.g., Aconex, Procore, or similar tools) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple completion tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with cross-functional teams.
