Salary Range: $36 - $42 Hourly
Schedule: 2 x 1 Rotation

What You Will Do:

The Pipefitter will be responsible configuring, installing, fitting, and maintaining various piping systems, both metal and nonmetal, and ensure smooth operation of those systems. Please keep in mind that this is an offshore position with a 2x1 rotation.
What You Will Need (minimum qualifications):
Duties:
• Follow established job-site safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.
• Identify safety hazards you or other employees may be subject to and take all necessary corrective action to communicate and mitigate those hazards.
• Use WORK STOP AUTHORITY.
• Conduct Toolbox Meetings and/or Safety meetings, as required.
• Comply with all safety policies and the applicable safety handbooks.
• Lead and mentor fellow employees in safe work ethics, practices, and behaviors.
• Take ownership of Udelhoven’s “Incident Free Culture”.
• Produce quality work meeting industry standards, client, and UOSS quality expectations.
• Plan and execute complex jobs regarding tools, material needs, rigging, and equipment.
• Utilize journeyman pipefitting techniques and methods for different types of piping systems including CS, SS, and other exotic grade pipe materials.
• Conduct material take-offs from ISOs, and/or orthographic drawings.
• Identify and apply material grades and product types using multiple client piping specifications.
• Perform hydro tests of complex piping systems.
• Walk down systems for safe-out/LOTO.
• Work with safety and operations to initiate the safest path forward to complete the in-field work scope.
• Field measure, create hand sketch ISOs, fabricate, and install complex piping systems.
• Apply mechanical skills and safely work with hand tools.
• Apply advanced math skills to skillfully calculate loads and select appropriate rigging.
Skills:
No supervisory responsibilities.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS:
As a condition of employment, you are required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable references and background check. Must have reliable transportation to/from work.

Skills:
- Must possess basic pipefitting tools, at a minimum.
- Previous offshore and/or Oil & Gas Experience. (Mandatory)
- Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment, in multiple locations with shifting priorities and work schedules.
- Ability to maintain good attendance and work with a positive attitude.
- Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers and fractions rapidly and accurately.
- Must be proficient in the use of bevelers, threaders, and other end prep machines.
