Overview:
Entry-level engineering for assisting in the design, development, and testing of electrical and mechanical systems typically under the guidance of senior engineers. Perform calculations, create models and drawings, selecting equipment, and ensuring compliance with standards while collaborating with other engineers. Tasks include detailed design work, analysis of electrical systems, and technical documentation.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Creating electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
- Performing laboratory tests, collecting and analyzing data.
- Coordinating with other engineering disciplines to integrate systems.
- Preparing technical documents including design calculations, reports, and specifications.
- Assisting with procurement of materials and equipment.
- Providing technical support to manufacturing teams.
- Troubleshooting electrical issues and identifying potential problems in designs
- Directions and tasks from senior engineering
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering
- Proficient in electrical design software (AutoCAD, EPLAN, etc.)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to life 25-50 pounds, prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and walking
