Responsibilities & Duties
- Design, develop, and test all aspects of mechanical components, equipment, and machinery
- Apply knowledge of engineering principles to design products such as engines, instruments, controls, robots, machines, etc.
- Perform fabrication, operation, application, installation, and/or repair of mechanical products
- Apply knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the mechanical engineering/design field
- Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- Certain degree of creativity and latitude is required
- May provide information to others and appropriately shares information and knowledge to achieve desired goals
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering plus minimum of 3 years related engineering experience
Preferred Requirements
- Experienced with Defense products
- Experienced with powered electronics
