This position provides PART-TIME support to our Energy Centers. Selected candidates will work PART-TIME up to a maximum of 1000 hours per calendar year. Key responsibilities include Performs a variety of general labor and cleaning in and around an Energy Center on energy center equipment in operating areas and shops. To do such work in connection with operating, construction, repair, and maintenance of generating station property, including use of electrical and air powered tools; operating sump pumps; working at times on jobs involving scaffolding and platform work; the use of hoisting and rigging methods; and similar and less skilled work as assigned. Under direct, but not constant supervision, working a rotating or day shift schedule, as required. Working Locations Ameren's Coal Fired Energy Centers located in Alton IL, Festus MO, Labadie MO. Qualifications Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and successfully complete the EEI power plant battery aptitude test. Candidates who have been referred by Ameren's TRW Program Coordinator strongly preferred.
