Position Summary / Objective
Oversees facility operations and leads and supports facility staff ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment that meets Head Start Performance Standards and all Federal and State licensing regulations. Fosters a proactive approach to maintenance, compliance, and operational excellence. Collaborates with leadership and department managers to align facilities management with organizational goals, optimizing resources and enhancing service delivery. Upholds and enforces Agency policies and procedures to maintain high standards of safety, functionality, and efficiency.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Facility Management & Compliance
- Oversee facility operations, ensuring compliance with Head Start Performance Standards and all regulations.
- Monitor and maintain facilities, kitchen spaces, playgrounds, and equipment for safety, functionality, and efficiency.
- Assess needs, prioritize work orders, and coordinate repairs, renovations, and construction projects.
- Develop and enforce policies and procedures related to facilities management.

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time non-exempt position and is paid hourly. UETHDA strives for our staff to be able to maintain a work - life balance. Typically, this position will be 37.5 hours per week working Monday through Friday 8 : 00 am to 4 : 30 pm. However, due to the nature of this position, some work in the evenings or on weekends could be necessary from time to time or an adjusted schedule may be required.
Travel
Travel is primarily locally during the business day, although some out of the area travel and overnight may be expected.

Wage Scale : AS Degree $22.01 through MS Degree $26.47 (with Certification)
Salary : $7,200
