What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Transporter | CFH Medical Transport | Full Time | Day Shift position at UF Health Central Florida?
Overview
Under the direction of the Director of Patient Care Administration, Supervisor, RN, and LPN, the transporter is responsible for providing safe, timely transportation of patients throughout the facility. Providing safety, basic physical care, and comfort measures for patients; as well as maintaining a clean, organized environment. Helps coordinate the flow of patients between nursing, medical and ancillary staff.
Since the doors opened more than 60 years ago, UF Health Leesburg Hospital has continued to build upon its reputation as a leading medical center and the most comprehensive provider of health care services in the region. The hospital offers advanced cardiovascular care, including one of the largest open-heart programs in Florida.
