Full Time Position
Monday - Friday
2:30pm - 11:00pm
The primary purpose of this position is to clean and maintain the Operating rooms as well as all equipment; secure supplies for OR team, and restock rooms. Patient care will include positioning, tranferring and transporting patients within the various areas within Perioperative Services.
Qualifications
Required Education: High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Education: N/A
Required Licensure/Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association) within 30 days from the date of hire.
Preferred Licensure/Certifications: CNA, or PCA, or MA
Required Experience: Less than one (1) year of patient care (i.e. nursing assistant/surgical tech/ MA), Supply chain, Operating Room or relevant medical equipment experience
Preferred Experience: 3-5 years patient care, Supply Chain, OR, or relevant medical equipment experience

- Must possess manual dexterity, computer skills, and be able to work under pressure.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Must be able to read, spell and do simple math, write clearly and understand written and oral instructions.
- Need to have effective computer skills, including typing, and use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Demonstrates teamwork and communicates in a professional manner with all members of the healthcare team
- Demonstrates a willingness to learn new methods, procedures and techniques resulting from departmental or organization change.
