VP Finance & Market CFO

Overview

The Vice President and Market Chief Financial Officer at UF Health is a key executive responsible for leading the operational finance strategy and performance across the market’s hospitals and sites of care. This role ensures sound financial management, operational efficiency, and resource optimization to support exceptional patient care, financial sustainability, and strategic growth. Working closely with hospital leadership, clinical departments, and system-wide finance teams, the Market CFO drives performance improvement initiatives, oversees financial operations, and ensures fiscal responsibility across all hospital-based functions within the assigned region. This position will be a key member of the Market leadership team, with a matrix reporting relationship to the Market President.

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
• Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, or related field is strongly preferred.
  
  

Experience:

• 8-10 years of progressive financial leadership experience in hospital or health system operations.
• Strong background in hospital finance, budgeting, revenue cycle, productivity, and cost containment.
• Experience in academic medical centers or complex multi-entity health systems is highly desired.

Motor Vehicle Operator Designation:

• Employees in this position: Will operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose as a non-frequent driver
  
  

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

• Certified Public Accountant in any state, preferred.
