BUDGET SYSTEMS SPECIALIST | BUDGET AND PLANNING | VARIABLE

Overview :

This is an on site position.

Maintains support documentation for processes and maintains monthly statistics for general ledger and reporting of statistics. Provides financial applications and other logistical support of departmental operations. Perform individual tasks for Budget Analysts and Bud Systems Administrator, including day-time support for existing applications. Reports recurring budget & statistic related problems to the team to work toward root cause analysis and resolution. Maintains support documentation for and reviews daily and monthly stat interfaces and financial system logs to ensure proper functioning of systems and communication between systems. Provides statistic & other needed data searches for surveys for internal and external customers.

Qualifications :

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements : Associate's Degree or two years specialized training in an applicable field (Business Administration, Allied Health, Computer Science, etc.) and two years relevant work experience. In lieu of the degree, a minimum of four years of relevant and related work experience may be substituted. Must have knowledge of and experience using software applications (word processing, spreadsheets, databases). Must have strong analytical abilities, problem solving skills, and excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written.Motor Vehicle Operator Designation : Employees in this position : Will not operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose.NOTE : A frequent driver is defined as one who uses his / her personal or Shands automobile a) at least once daily, b) at least five individual trips per week or c) drives, on average, over 150 miles per week in the performance of his / her job.
