Under the direction of the childcare Manager and lead teacher, must be able to assist the lead teacher to provide a safe and age-appropriate classroom atmosphere. Also develop age-appropriate lesson plans and assist with developmental checklist.

Responsibilities
- Assist Lead Teacher with all classroom responsibilities
- Assist with daily Lesson Plans and curriculum
- Follows up with parents and Lead Teachers as needed
- Completes assigned work as scheduled in allotted time frame.
- Engages in departmental / hospital committees, PI projects, educational offerings to peers, mentoring / precepting of new team members.
- Attends Staff Meetings, completes all required competencies and mandatory education as assigned.
- Seeks training, educational, certification and enhancement in area focus / specialty.
- Demonstrates behavior standards that enhance positive interactions with physicians, peers, patients and family members.
- Completes other duties as requested / assigned.
Qualifications
Education
High School / GED
Licensure / Certification / Registration
CDA,30 hours of childcare facility part 1 and 20 hours of childcare facility part 2. Can be found on the DCF training transcript.

Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
