The Medical laboratory scientist generalist is responsible for performance of diagnostic procedures in the area for which they are assigned. This position requires an individual who is highly skilled in areas that they are licensed. This individual helps maintain an excellent rapport between Laboratory staff and other hospital departments.
$4000.00 Sign on Bonus eligible: One-Year Commitment
The following sign on premium amounts will be paid in two installments (first half will be paid after the team member has been in the premium eligible position for (90 days) 3 months and second half will be paid after the team member has been in the premium eligible full-time position for (365 days) 1 year
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
- Associates degree in MLT or related field (Required)
- Certificate training program at an approved school for Medical Technician level training leading to state licensure
Licensure/Certification/Registration
- Current Florida License TC - Laboratory Clinical Technician
Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
- Previous laboratory experience preferred
This position will be required to work every other Sunday and Saturday rotation.
