Job Opening Summary
Independently performs all phases of diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures, following department protocol, while using their technical knowledge, skills and good judgment to provide safe and effective care in an educational facility. Accurately documents all radioactive materials and medical record information in compliance with all federal, state and hospital regulations. Rotational on-call required.
Job Opening Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
- Satisfactory completion of an Associate of Science degree in Nuclear Medicine from an AMA-approved program that meets the requirements for certification by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT).
- Qualified applicant must also have certification by ARRT and/or NMTCB and licensure from the Florida DOH.
- CT certification by ARRT and/or NMTCB and licensure by Florida DOH preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
- Registered by the ARRT (RT (N)) or the NMTCB (CNMT) and licensed by the State of Florida DOH as a Certified Radiologic Technologist.
- Preferred registry by the ARRT (RT (CT)) or the NMTCB (CT) and licensed by the State of Florida DOH.
