Overview :
To deliver excellent patient centered service in a medical office setting by answering telephones, scheduling patient appointments, processing referrals, greeting patients upon arrival, performing Check-in duties and maintaining a comfortable wait experience for patients based on practice protocols and UF Health Physicians policies and procedures. May be required to float to other practices or flex time, as needed, for staffing.
Qualifications :
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements :
High school graduate or equivalent. One year of general office, customer service, or medical practice experience preferred. Excellent customer relations and phone skills are necessary. Familiarity with CPT and diagnosis coding preferred. Incumbent should be comfortable providing basic visit, cost and co-payment information. Applicant should display initiative, have the ability to multitask and be able to take on responsibilities. Proven ability to problem solve and be a team member is essential. Must have excellent interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills.
