Overview:
Responsible for interpreting managed care contract reimbursement terms, maintaining the accuracy of the contract management system, review and monitors the performance of the managed care contracts. Acts as system administrator for the EPIC Contract system. Assists revenue cycle leaders in working closely with administrators, physicians, and other faculty to investigate and design strategic initiatives in order to improve revenue cycle statistics, reporting capabilities, and overall payer performance. Determines how processes can be aligned with best practices to achieve optimal results, measurable change, and a quantifiable, positive contribution.
Qualifications:Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in related field. 5 years' experience in revenue cycle, contract implementation, contract analysis, Government Programs, and claims analysis experience. EPIC hospital information systems experience preferred. In depth, hands-on knowledge of and experience with enterprise and desktop applications including Microsoft (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Access, and report writing capabilities) is required. Must have strong interpersonal, facilitation, coordination and customer service skills. Must be able to demonstrate ability to apply analysis, definition and documentation for business, systems and data processes. Must have analytical skills and competence in problem definition and strategy development for resolution. Must have ability to manage multiple projects and must be task oriented.
