Responsibilities
- Responsible for obtaining reimbursement for professional services while maintaining timely claims submissions.
- Research charges to submit to the appropriate carrier according to Federal/Managed Care rules, regulations, and compliance guidelines.
- Enter and bill professional charges into the automated billing system program.
- Maintain accurate records and reports to ensure compliance with institutional policies.
Requirements
- 2 years of healthcare experience in medical billing preferred.
- EPIC system experience and knowledge of online payor tools are highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
