Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Supervisor and in association with the radiologist, the ultrasound technologist performs routine, emergent and specialized sonographic examinations, provides patient care and exercises professional judgment in the performance of procedures.
Qualifications
Education:
- Post High School Special Training
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
- ARRT or Vascular Certification within 6 months, which is either RVT (through ARDMS) or RVS (through CCI)
- BLS
Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required:
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
