Essential Functions
- Serve as the secondary point of contact for escalated questions and issue resolution of all Mortgage software applications, including but not limited to Encompass, Simple Nexus, SureFire, Optimal Blue, DocuSign, and Reggora, and support the Associate System Analysts with escalations.
- Act as backup on requests from internal users while troubleshooting complex or escalated issues in a timely manner and escalating items to appropriate tech support as needed.
- Provide support to other areas of Lending, including Consumer and Commercial Lending systems.
- Apply expert knowledge of the credit union's business model to design, document, and test system configuration to satisfy all end-user needs.
- Maintain expert knowledge of Mortgage Lending processes, procedures, and guidelines, including staying informed on industry compliance and regulation standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, Lending Management, other business partners, and subject matter experts to address and map out enhancement requests.
- Collaborate with IT and other UFCU interfacing system administrators, such as Symitar Episys, Engage, Online Banking, OM3, Mobile Banking, Temenos Infinity, nCino, etc., to provide a consistent member experience across all channels.
- Work collaboratively with business units at all times to assist in developing projects to meet UFCU strategic objectives.
- Develop guidelines to ensure consistent processes for building custom fields, documents, and data entry forms
- Create business rules for data entry, workflow progression, and regulatory compliance as requested by each business unit.
- Build and maintain custom documents as needed and standards for maintenance of document management.
- Work collaboratively with Lending management teams to implement solutions that support process or procedure improvements that could help streamline or automate processes.
- Research and recommend system configurations to optimize UFCU member and employee experience.
- Create, maintain, and deploy reports to support the goals and objectives for Lending.
- Track and report system issues and defects.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.
- Complete required regulatory training as assigned.
- Maintain strict adherence and compliance to all laws, rules, regulations and internal controls specific to the role, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, USA Patriot Act, OFAC and Fair Lending regulations.
Knowledge
- Strong knowledge of Mortgage loan process, current Mortgage lending laws and regulations, Mortgage loan documentation, loan requirements, and Mortgage loan terminology
- Intermediate knowledge of reporting, analyzing, interpreting, and researching information
- Basic working knowledge of UFCU’s loan originations systems, such as Temenos Infinity for Consumer Lending and nCino for Commercial Lending
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of two (2) years of System Administration experience with Encompass products or other Mortgage Loan Origination Systems.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in the Mortgage Lending industry.
- Demonstrated expertise in analytical research, critical thinking, problem-solving, and making solid business decisions.
- Demonstrated experience exhibiting attention to detail, time management, written and oral communication, and working in a team atmosphere adhering to deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or a related field. Four (4) years of relevant experience may be substituted for degree.
- Experience with Simple Nexus, SureFire, Optimal Blue, Temenos Infinity LOS or Collections, DocuSign, nCino, LaserPro.
- Familiarity with SCRUM and Agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with credit union philosophies and practices.
