Job Summary
UFP Industries is a leading wood manufacturing company that produces, distributes, and sells a diverse range of value-added products used in residential and commercial construction, packaging, and other industrial applications worldwide. As UFP continues to expand, we are seeking diligent, intelligent, goal-oriented, and innovative interns to join our team and grow with us.
We are currently looking for Cybersecurity Interns to support our cybersecurity initiatives. The successful candidates will assist in the development and maintenance of an Asset Protection framework, focusing on data security, threat and vulnerability management, and incident response. The ideal candidates will be enthusiastic and eager to learn, gaining hands-on experience in cybersecurity and related technologies. Interns may have the opportunity to transition to hourly positions upon completion of the internship.
Location : Must be based out of our Grand Rapids, MI location
Duration : 3-6 months, with the potential for some interns to transition to hourly positions
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of an Asset Protection framework, focusing on data security and asset inventory.
- Monitor security alerts and events and support the investigation and response to security incidents.
- Collaborate with various teams to investigate issues and develop effective solutions.
- Assist in the configuration and maintenance of security tools and technologies.
- Prepare and present reports to senior cybersecurity staff.
- Perform additional duties as required.
