Key Responsibilities
- Under the direction of the department lead, the Maintenance Crew Leader ensures that the work area operates according to schedule, minimizing downtime and optimizing productivity.
- Ensures a safe and clean work environment, including equipment and personnel, adhering to established safety standards.
- Provides training to employees on machine-specific safety procedures prior to equipment operation.
- Implements Continuous Improvement (CI) principles to enhance current processes and improve overall performance.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; 1-3 years of Maintenance Technician experience desirable.
- Working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, control technology, pneumatics, and welding.
- Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, as well as PLC and VFD systems.
