Job Summary
We are seeking an enterprising and proven individual to join our Growth Team – someone who is equally passionate, tenacious, and professional, in how they execute on their respective objectives, The Director of Channel Partnerships is one of the most significant roles to be created in our organization’s Growth Team. In this role you will be responsible for nurturing and delivering profound growth from within our existing base of incredible industry partners, as well as seeking and securing new partnerships to add to the roster. Under minimal supervision, and harnessing your own independent problem-solving capabilities, you will successfully understand and execute on your quarterly objectives, reporting progress regularly to the SVP of Growth and Partnerships, as well as the broader management team at Urban FT. You will fundamentally understand the Urban FT product suite, the incredible capabilities and corresponding benefits partners gain from those products, and how Urban FT supports and maintains those products. You will take ownership over pricing and commercial terms, oversee the contracting process, solution architecture process, and implementation process. Key Responsibilities
- Nurturing and profoundly growing the revenue base of the current roster of channel partnerships.
- Identifying and closing new partnerships.
- Act as primary contact between partner and internal resources ensuring delivery of timely, high-quality outcomes and exceptional service.
- Establish trusted advisor relationships with partner stakeholders ensuring Urban FT’s activities are appropriately aligned with partner business strategies.
- Advise partners on strategies and tactics to drive sales and exceed their business objectives.
- Identify opportunities for account expansion.
- Understand partner’s solutions and technologies as they relate to Urban FT’s products.
- Develop and implement an onboarding plan for partners ensuring a seamless transition from Sales to Support.
- Conduct account reviews that highlight partner and program successes, milestones and opportunities.
- Oversee critical partner technical support escalations.
- Attend key partner related Conferences and Fintech Industry events as needed.
- Be knowledgeable of all aspects of mobile image capture including, but limited to, the sales process, product demos, features and benefits of the offering.
- Maintain contact lists and follow up with clients to continue relationships.
- Collaborate with colleagues to move deals forward.
- Negotiate prices and terms and prepare sales agreements.
- Demonstrate leadership ability.
- Play a key role in delivering 2025/2026 growth quota.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred and/or equivalent experience in related field.
- 5 – 7 years of experience either in sales or channel management in financial services or payments industry.
- Strong knowledge of financial services, payments, mobile capture, item processing, digital banking and digital capture preferred.
- Understanding of sales cycles and processes.
- Experience in opportunity qualification, account development and documentation.
- Must be professional with exceptional etiquette skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Exceptional time management/task management skills.
- Ability to work tactfully through challenging customer issues.
- Problems solver who gets things done.
- Ability to work remotely without close supervision.
Working Conditions
- Travel is required. Ability to travel overnight up to 25% of the time.
- Ability to attend on-site meetings.
