Classification Title Office/Clerical Assistant FLSA Non-Exempt FTE 1.0 Minimum Qualifications
Requires are least a high school diploma or equivalent. Please contact your Human Resources office for an evaluation of education/experience in lieu of the required minimum qualifications.
Preferred Qualifications
The Medical Records Associate will provide customer service to all clients of the Medical Records Department. Primary responsibilities include pulling patient schedules, answering phones/emails and scanning medical records for all patients of the Veterinary Teaching Hospital and attaching scans to electronic records. This position will also be cross trained to perform all aspects of the Medical Records reception office which entails: answering and routing phone calls, emails and faxes in a timely manner; attaching incoming documentation to patient records; pulling and organizing files for all service areas of the hospital; notifying service areas of patient arrival; processing records requests; and other duties as assigned. The candidate will have a high level of attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and consistent time management skills. We strive to create a positive work environment of continuous improvement. This position needs a team player willing to communicate positively with other members of the hospital.
