Student Managers, under the supervision of full-time equipment managers, will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations for the University of Georgia’s football equipment room. Student managers will assist in practice set-up and break down, as well as assist coaches with their needs. Managers will be tasked with preforming laundry duties, maintaining practice equipment and pads, and maintaining inventory control of Nike apparel. Student equipment managers will be asked to preform duties assigned on game-days. Student equipment managers are expected to be prepared to work weekends and holidays.
Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies Physical Demands
Stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, feel; and reach with hands and arms. Sit and talk or hear. Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Close and distance vision, and peripheral vision. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
