Job Summary
The Analyst II Financial Planning is a business partner who develops an understanding of one or several Company business segments and presents risks, opportunities and recommendations to the FP&A team. The analyst supports the Companys financial resource planning and the analysis of actual results against the plan. The analyst will be responsible for preparation of accurate and timely budgets, forecasts and financial summaries, and for communicating variance drivers to support business decisions.
Duties and Responsibilities
- For the business segments or planning components responsible for, assist in the preparation of forecasts, budgets, operating statistics and / or related analysis. This includes loading and retrieving data from the Hyperion system for business segment or Corporate use.
- Analyze, prepare and summarize actual results and recommendations for financial plans, forecasts, margin, expenses and capital expenditures.
- Assist in the development of detailed financial analysis and provide key financial information and analysis in support of executive management decision making and strategy.
- Help to prepare monthly & quarterly presentations of financial and business results for senior leadership or other departments as needed.
- Participate in special projects and analysis, including daily cash forecasting and bank reporting.
