General Description:
The Bartender is responsible for delivering an outstanding bar experience by crafting high-quality beverages, engaging with guests, and maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar. As a key team member, the Bartender contributes to the overall guest experience and plays an essential role in promoting the Ugly Dumpling brand.

Duties & Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Greet guests warmly, engage in friendly conversation, and ensure an exceptional bar experience.
Prepare and serve beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, bubble tea and other non-alcoholic drinks, with consistency and attention to detail.
Provide recommendations to guests based on their preferences and menu knowledge.
Handle guest concerns professionally and promptly to ensure satisfaction.
Accurately mix and prepare drinks according to Ugly Dumpling’s recipes and standards.
Ensure proper garnish preparation and presentation for all beverages.
Maintain bar cleanliness and organization throughout the shift.
Adhere to all local, state, and federal alcohol service laws and regulations.
Monitor and maintain proper stock levels for the bar, including restocking and inventory management.
Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Handle cash, credit card transactions, and closing procedures accurately.
Work closely with servers, barbacks, and kitchen staff to provide seamless service.
Participate in pre-shift meetings and collaborate with team members to achieve daily goals.
Assist in training new bartenders or barbacks as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Essential Functions
Previous experience as a bartender in a high-volume restaurant or bar setting preferred.
Strong knowledge of mixology, cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages.
Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with POS systems and basic cash handling procedures.
Knowledge of local, state, and federal alcohol service laws.
Ability to lift and carry items up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
A positive attitude, attention to detail, and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
Must have a reliable schedule and be available for nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
