We're looking for a skilled Culinary Manager to lead our kitchen operations at Ugly Dumpling's Fairfax, VA location. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in restaurant management or leadership roles, preferably in casual family dining concepts.
The successful candidate will oversee all kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to brand standards, operational procedures, and federal, state, and local guidelines. They'll also integrate company initiatives and emphasize their importance with applicable staff members.
Main Responsibilities:
- Hiring and Staffing: Hire and train BOH staff to meet established staffing pars.
- Inventory Control: Manage food costs and inventory, following up on corrective action where necessary.
- Kitchen Safety: Ensure compliance with kitchen safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation practices.
Requirements:
- 3 years of prior culinary management experience.
- Prior experience at a full dine-in restaurant or casual plus restaurant.
- Hands-on experience with planning menus and ordering ingredients.
