Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with Daily Living Activities: Help patients with bathing, dressing, eating, and getting around. You’re their go-to support, ensuring comfort and dignity.
- Monitor Vital Signs: Take and record vital signs like temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration. Keep a close eye on changes to keep care on track.
- Mobility Assistance: Safely assist patients with walking, transfers, and repositioning to keep them mobile and prevent falls.
- Ensure Comfort and Cleanliness: Change bed linens, assist with hygiene, and maintain a clean and comfortable environment.
- Hydration and Nutrition Support: Help patients with meals and hydration, ensuring they get the nourishment they need.
- Emotional Support: Be there for patients as a comforting presence and listening ear—your empathy is what sets you apart.
- Accurate Documentation: Keep thorough and up-to-date records to ensure continuity of care for the entire team.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver top-notch care.
- Patient Transport: Assist with transfers to different areas of the hospital, ensuring safety and comfort during the journey.
Qualifications:
- Current LNA Certification in New Hampshire (don’t leave home without it!).
- Experience: Prior hospital experience is a bonus, but we’re happy to train enthusiastic LNAs ready to learn.
- BLS Certification: Basic Life Support is a must (superhero training not required).
