Universal HCR is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Intensive Care Unit in Santa Maria, CA. Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care for critically ill patients, including those requiring advanced life support.
- Monitor and manage patients with acute medical, surgical, and cardiac conditions.
- Operate and troubleshoot life-sustaining equipment such as ventilators and infusion pumps.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to create and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation using advanced EMR systems.
- Ensure patient safety and quality of care in compliance with evidence-based standards.
What We’re Looking For Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience:
- 5 years of recent ICU experience.
- Experience with advanced critical care modalities and equipment.
Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) – AHA
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – AHA
Licensure:
- Active California RN License or compact license.
Preferred Qualifications:
- BSN or higher degree.
- Previous travel nursing experience.
