Key Responsibilities:
- Comprehensive Patient Care: Provide top-notch nursing care for Med-Surg and Telemetry patients, addressing both acute and chronic conditions.
- Monitor Vital Signs: Use telemetry equipment to track and respond to patients' cardiac rhythms and overall health.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work closely with doctors, therapists, and other nurses to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Educate Patients & Families: Empower patients and their loved ones by explaining treatments, recovery plans, and health management strategies.
- Accurate Documentation: Keep meticulous records of patient care, interventions, and progress.
- Promote Safety: Adhere to all safety and infection control guidelines while ensuring a clean and comfortable environment for patients.
- Emotional Support: Offer compassion, understanding, and encouragement to patients during their healthcare journey.
Qualifications:
- RN License: Current New York RN license or compact state license.
- Experience: 1-2 years of Med-Surg/Telemetry nursing experience preferred.
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS required (and don’t worry, superhero powers are optional).
- Skills: Exceptional multitasking, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Personality: Enthusiastic, caring, and ready to bring positive energy to the team.
