Job Description:
Barrett Hospital & HealthCare is seeking a compassionate and experienced Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a 13-week travel contract. The RN will deliver exceptional care to oncology patients, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being in a supportive healthcare environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to oncology patients, including administering chemotherapy and other treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient conditions, identify complications, and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and provide emotional support.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation in compliance with hospital standards.
Requirements:
- Active RN license in good standing.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in oncology nursing preferred.
- BLS certification (required).
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
