Key Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Apply your RN skills to provide top-notch care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit, adhering to Oregon State Board of Nursing standards.
- Collaborative Care: Work alongside an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and teach patients/significant others about their health.
- Float Support: Be ready to float to MCU/PSU/APU as needed, demonstrating adaptability and professionalism.
- Documentation: Keep detailed and accurate medical records to ensure seamless communication within the care team.
Qualifications
- Recent Acute Care Hospital Experience: Must have recent experience (past 2 years) in acute care, with at least 2 years in PCU/IMCU/Telemetry/Stepdown settings.
- Certifications: ACLS and BLS (AHA); willing to obtain if not already active.
- License: Oregon RN license (can be obtained post-submission).
- Submission Materials: Up-to-date resume, skills checklist (within 1 year), and proof of certifications and license.
Schedule Details
- Shift Times: 12-hour day shifts.
- Weekend Requirements: Determined by the facility.
- On-Call Requirements: None (because you deserve uninterrupted rest!).
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week (facility may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13 weeks).
