Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Surgical Technologist (SPT) to join our team for a 13-week contract in Scottsbluff, NE. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 weeks of experience and be comfortable with variable shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in surgical procedures by preparing and handling instruments, supplies, and equipment.
- Maintain a sterile field and adhere to infection control practices.
- Work closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth operation of the surgical environment.
- Perform preoperative and postoperative tasks as required.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred but not required.
- Minimum 3 weeks of relevant experience in a surgical setting.
- Ability to adapt to variable shifts and a fast-paced environment.
